Three. Two. One. Re-Launch!

Good morning, world!I've started writing again after spending the last few years in high-demanding assignments overseas and in the States. Now, back home in Alabama and working as a full-time speechwriter, life once again has room for writing – or at least I’m making room. I’ll use this blog as a platform to discuss my work and connect with potential readers. As a father of four children all under seven-years old, and having a full-time job, there’s not much time – or quiet time – to focus on personal writing projects. So, in the early morning hours when most Americans are still sleeping, you can find me with a cup of coffee in my bedroom, typing away at one of three projects. The first project is titled “Undaunted." It’s a short non-fiction profile of five Veterans of World War II. It’s already written and should be published in a few weeks. The second is a dark political parody. I plan to publish it this summer. The third book is tentatively titled “The Astronomer.” I’m only a third of the way through it and hope to publish it before the end of the year. So, that’s about it for my first post. I’ll provide an update on the World War II book when it’s published in a few weeks. Meanwhile, I’ve posted a few of my old opinion articles below from a few years ago to give this blog some material to build upon.
